Memphis by a million. Enough said.

Saturday, Nov. 1

No. 1 Ohio State vs. Penn State — 12 p.m. | FOX

Penn State just fired its head coach, while Ohio State looks like the most complete team in the nation right now.
Pick: Ohio State wins big.

No. 2 Indiana at Maryland — 3:30 p.m. | CBS

All aboard the Cignetti Bullet Train! No turtle can catch this one.
Pick: Indiana wins comfortably.

No. 5 Georgia vs. Florida (Jacksonville, Fla.) — 3:30 p.m. | ABC

Florida joins the “fired head coach” club this year. Georgia rolls again.
Pick: Georgia wins easily.

No. 7 Ole Miss vs. South Carolina — 7 p.m. | ESPN

The Lane Train has hit a few speed bumps, but it’s still moving. Expect a hard-fought win in Oxford.
Pick: Ole Miss in a close one.

No. 8 Georgia Tech at NC State — 7:30 p.m. | ESPN2

The Jackets are buzzing again. High GPAs, high expectations, and finally, high-quality football.
Pick: Georgia Tech wins big.

No. 9 Vanderbilt at No. 20 Texas — 12 p.m. | ABC

The landlocked Commodores head west to anchor down in Austin. The “smart schools of the South” trend continues.
Pick: Vanderbilt upsets Texas — GPAs over horns.

No. 10 Miami (Fla.) at SMU — 12 p.m. | ESPN

This one has shades of the classic “Catholics vs. Convicts” matchups of old.
Pick: Miami wins — South Beach celebrates.

No. 12 Notre Dame at Boston College — 3:30 p.m. | ESPN

Business as usual for the Irish.
Pick: Catholics win big. The end.

No. 13 Texas Tech at Kansas State — 3:30 p.m. | FOX

Manhattan, Kansas — one of the few places you can “sailgate” to a football game. Still, Texas Tech’s deep roster gives them the edge.
Pick: Texas Tech wins.

No. 14 Tennessee vs. No. 18 Oklahoma — 7:30 p.m. | ABC

A house divided — I’m a Tennessee homer, but most of my family bleeds Sooner red. This one’s tight.
Pick: Vols by fifty.

No. 15 Virginia at Cal — 3:45 p.m. | ESPN2

Virginia is back and playing inspired football.
Pick: UVA wins on the road.

No. 16 Louisville at Virginia Tech — 3 p.m. | The CW Network

Louisville crushed Miami’s hopes recently and should carry that momentum into Blacksburg.
Pick: Louisville wins.

No. 17 Cincinnati at No. 24 Utah — 10:15 p.m. | ESPN

Utah’s defense should control the tempo and protect home turf.
Pick: Utah wins.

No. 21 Michigan vs. Purdue — 7 p.m. | Big Ten Network

Purdue has become the Big Ten’s punching bag.
Pick: Michigan dominates.

No. 22 Houston vs. West Virginia — 12 p.m. | FS1

Injuries have gutted West Virginia’s offense — quarterback, running back, and top receiver all sidelined.
Pick: Houston takes advantage and wins comfortably.

No. 23 USC at Nebraska — 7:30 p.m. | NBC

USC is vulnerable, and Memorial Stadium is never an easy place to play.
Pick: Nebraska pulls off the upset in front of the home crowd.
