For a sport where its detractors complain about there not being enough scoring, Brenna Overbay has scored a whole bunch of goals.
More than anyone in the history of the Science Hill girls soccer program.
Overbay set the milestone in the Lady Hilltoppers’ opening match, scoring five goals against David Crockett. For that achievement, Overbay is the inaugural winner of the I-81 Sports and Tricitiessports Prep Athlete of the Week, sponsored by Uptown Cheesesteak Company in Kingsport.

We conducted a short interview with Brenna but unfortunately we had technical difficulties with the sound because of the wind. We can assure you, however, that when asked if pineapple belonged on pizza, she was an emphatic “No.”
We’ve also improved our sound equipment, so Brenna will just have to do something big later this season so we can re-do the interview.
