Some interesting numbers as the round of 16 concludes today, as to which teams have been the most, and least, profitable for us at this stage in the tournament.
The top five most profitable teams, in terms of units:
- France (+11.3 units)
- Australia (+8.45 units) – Eliminated
- Sweden (+8.3 units) – Eliminated
- South Africa (+8.2 units) – Eliminated
- Egypt (+6.54 units)
And the five least profitable teams:
- Cape Verde (-10.8 units) – Eliminated
- Argentina (-8.49 units)
- Algeria (-5.6 units) – Eliminated
- Croatia (-5.1 units) – Eliminated
- Tunisia (-4.9 units) – Eliminated
With that, let’s get to today’s recommended plays.
ARGENTINA VS EGYPT (Noon)
A dream draw to the quarterfinals for Argentina as they have yet still to play against a team in the top half of this competition. Egypt, like Cape Verde, has been a nice story but this was always the ceiling for this Egypt side. Egypt can probably frustrate Argentina for a while but fully expect Argentina to move on to the quarterfinals in this matchup.

- Average risk parlay: Both teams to score NO AND under 11.5 corners (-125)
- High risk play: Argentina to win 1-0 or 2-0 (+180)
SWITZERLAND VS COLOMBIA (4 PM)
The final round of 16 matchup is quite a contrast of styles. I think Colombia has probably exceeded expectations more than any team in the World Cup field. This team is on a roll right now and I don’t think Switzerland is the opponent to end it.
- Low risk parlay toss in: Colombia double chance (win or draw) (-325)
- Average risk play: Both teams to score YES (-105)
- High risk play: Colombia win 1-0 or a 1-1 draw (+220)
