We have made it to the quarterfinals where all the teams that still remain have had to play great soccer to be here and there should be no more free passes.
FRANCE VS MOROCCO
We open this round with a rematch of the 2022 semifinals, which France won 2-0. The big question here is how Morocco will fare without its breakout star striker Ismael Saibari, who is out due to injury. Morocco has conceded in three of its five matches in this tournament, with Canada and Scotland the only teams not scoring, and had a combined expected goal value of nearly 1.5. Morocco isn’t defending at an elite level, which means France is highly likely to get at least one here and probably two given Les Bleus’ attacking ability.
France has looked like the best side in the competition from the start, but as with the Paraguay game, the price on France in this match is very lopsided and value may once again be on the underdog side here.
